12/12/2007 Technical Production

Couple of technical issues:
- Some pixels are still not aligning correctly, especially when viewed by IE, the layout would produce error
- Log in section will need some technical help from Galaxy apps

Future possible improvement:
- Galaxy is planning on entering the internet market in China, the dark bar under the header will be able to hold additional buttons to switch language of the site between English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese
- The next step would be to introduce some light flash animation into this site as we discussed previously

10/9/2007 Competition Analysis with John
citymax.com
1. It has most features presented right on the front page while galaxy is not as direct as citymax's website.
2. galaxy perfer darker color, while citymax is using a very neutral color scheme.

3. more friendly on web newbies.
New to Website Building?
What is a Website Builder?
What You Need to Get a Website
Traditional Website Software Vs. CityMax

looks very trustworthy

4. testimonials
Yes, testimonials, well, we'd have to get that from current clients...
We're a bit new, so we probably have not had that in our database at this point.

5.lots of things have not been decided, so leave blank
6. Citymax has a more complete pricing plan, which we could work on as well.
7. However, citymax is more of a product site, compare to Galaxyapps.com, which is more focus on the company as whole.

netsuite.com
1. this page includes some very light flash animation.
2. they do not have a pricing page.
3.The front page, as you put it, looks very dynamic, that's not necessary... but it also looks professional. Remember,
trustworthy is the key word here.
4. the use of real ppl images (can we do that?)
5. I think there might be too many links... its a little bit confusing.
It looks professional, more so than citymax, and might even be more organized
but too many links, and it's not all intuitive for smaller businesses
Too many technical or business terms, like "CRM". I mean, customers can easily look that stuff up... but still not have a general idea of what CRM encompasses or what it means to them.
6."resources"
I'm not sure if we need all that right away. We're a small company, not many customers yet, so we'd need to interact with them on a more personal level
which works out better for us for where we are
7. this site is bit too professional, which is not exactly who you are targeting for. As you mentioned last time, galaxy is aiming customers who doesnt require a lot of knowledge in web and technology.

but I'll try to start on resources or something within the next few months and hopefully finish in that time.
